UHF On Site Inventory
Stock checks
As the customer and laundry have in the past had no visibility of the amount of stock on site, overstock is common across the industry. Wasting space, creating dead stock and over charging. This is mainly solved by the UHF portal tracking but often on site stock checks are needed.
Stock checks are done predominately for 2 reasons:
- To improve the accuracy of lost stock figures by scanning static stock at the customer site. This is mainly for customer owned stocks.
- To check the data for customers with high pool stock loss or slow turnaround stock.
Both of these can be done using the Textilligence smart phone applications.
