CHIPTEX-OSL
Space-efficient distribution on 1 m²
The CHIPTEX-OSL is a system for the distribution of folded garments. Besides garments, the system is also suitable for the distribution of clogs, gloves or other items. This system requires very little surface area, and 1 m² is enough to store 240 garments. The capacity can always be increased by connecting additional units. The scaleable setup makes the system viable from 50 users or more.
The compartment sizes are adjustable, because different items can be distributed by the CHIPTEX-OSL. The system has 8 levels. The size of the compartment can vary per level.
RFID or not
The system identifies the articles based on the RFID tags. This way you always have an overview of where the garments are located: in the system, at the laundry service or with the user. You can also see which and how many garments are in the employee’s possession. The system also works without RFID. Clogs or other items such as gloves, hearing protection or items alike are not required to be equipped with RFID tags. This makes the CHIPTEX-OSL a clever solution for every situation.
Ease of use
Each employee with a personal badge can retrieve the right items from the system via a user-friendly touchscreen. Quickly and easily, 24/7. Distribution only takes a few seconds per item. Dirty garments are collected by the system. The system can distribute personalised and tailor-made garments at the same time. That is useful for any organisation.
Management information
The CHIPTEX-OSL works with a credit system. This means that users can never be in possession of more garments than authorised. This enables you to restrict the number of garments in circulation to a minimum, and it helps to prevent loss of garments and other items. The CHIPTEX-OSL offers you clearly-organised management information providing complete control over garments and users. The CHIPTEX-OSL can also be connected to other information systems, such as the laundry service.
Dust-free storage
One of the many benefi ts of the CHIPTEX-OSL is that garments, sets and other items are stored in a sealed, dust-free space. This means that employees are also dressed according to regulations.
Quick and clever loading
The CHIPTEX-OSL can be loaded easily. The workwear does not need a reserved place in the system. This means loading can be carried out even faster. Since the RFID tags are registered during loading, the system knows exactly which garments are in stock. This means a load advisory can be ignored and that the correct workwear can be loaded.
CHIPTEX product family
The CHIPTEX-OSL runs on CHIPTEX software. It is therefore possible to link to other LCT-Textilligence CHIPTEX solutions and work from one software package.
CHIPTEX U-Cab
For the automated distribution of garments
We introduce you to the automated distribution of garments. The CHIPTEX U-Cab is already an appealing solution for organisations consisting of 30 employees or more. The CHIPTEX U-Cab is a compact and modular system for the collection and distribution of workwear. The garments are distributed anonymously, but during the process of distribution labelled temporarily with a personal UHF RFID chip.
Users enjoy more flexibility and will always have access to workwear. They are no longer dependent on opening hours. The CHIPTEX U-Cab provides workwear collection and distribution 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Inappropriate use and loss are therefore minimised.
Simple identification and control
The system is very easy to use; The user logs in with an ID badge or digital access key and selects the desired items accessible to the user by following and choosing from the pictographs on the colour touchscreen. The system will subsequently unlock a compartment from which the user can take their items. After locking the compartment all RFID tags are scanned again. Items that have been taken unauthorised or in excess are reported. The credit system ensures that users cannot take clean garments without returning dirty laundry. This way you are in control over the stock and the process.
Collection of used garments
The collection process does not require an ID badge. The user only has to deposit their garments in one of the collection depots. The system detects the garments and registers them in the database. The collection depot comes in different models and is located centrally or linked to a distribution depot.
Loading the system
Loading the system is fast and easy. It generates an overview showing which items need to be restored in order to reach the optimal stock size. One or more item/size combinations are defined per compartment. The operator opens and loads a compartment with garments. The system scans the new stock. Incorrect items are detected immediately and signalled on the screen. After loading the system it is instantly ready for distribution.
Default model
The default model consists of four elements with each four compartments. Each compartment can contain one or more items. The RFID equipment in the default model is supplied with a 7-inch screen. The storage unit consists of compartments, taking up 80 x 60 cm of surface area with a height of 210 cm. You can place the systems wherever you like, thanks to the sharp-looking design.
Expansion capabilities
The capacity of the default model can be expanded with a collection depot(s) for dirty laundry or additional storage compartments. The expansion units are supplied ready for deployment and including wiring. An additional default model is required from 32 storage compartments onwards.
Controlled collection
In addition to monitoring distributed garments, collected garments are also registered. The system monitors whether garments taken by users are also being returned. Monitoring of the laundry service on whether they have returned the supplied laundry is also possible.
Workwear management
The system is supplied with the CHIPTEX software solution. Workwear management can be done internally or can be outsourced to your laundry service. The CHIPTEX software platform allows you to control and get an insight in your workwear management. No more unpleasant surprises in your budget due to workwear loss or theft.
